Loris Azzaro created the house that bears his name. Born in Italy, he found much success in France in the late 60s, with a couture collection combining femininity and glamour. Azzaro dressed some of the biggest stars of his day, Brigitte Bardot, Liza Minelli and Raquel Welch to name but a few.
His first fragrance, a perfume called Azzaro Couture, was released in 1975, and was followed by Azzaro pour Homme in 1978, all best sellers in their day. Now Azzaro is the perfume and aftershave connosieur brand, exclusive and cultivated fragrances for men and women.
